勞動部自4月起取消勞檢安全衛生獎金，引發外界議論，勞動部則稱，為了有效運用檢查人力，才取消檢舉獎金，希望著重在高風險危害行業及工地勞檢，避免產生排擠作用。自由台灣黨政策部主任溫朗東則批，「非常鬼扯」，說法完全站不住腳。

過去民眾若具名檢舉僱主違反《職業安全衛生法》，成案就可獲得獎勵金。不過，安衛檢舉獎勵金將從4月起廢止。外界認為，政府既然要推動一例一休，就該更嚴格執行勞檢，同時鼓勵民眾監督勞動環境，取消獎金反而會降低民眾檢舉意願。

勞動部則表示，未來將採風險分級策略，將檢查人力及檢查重心優先致力於高風險危害行商務行李箱業及工地，有效運用檢查人力，避免排擠；不過，雖然停止核發檢舉獎勵金，仍會受理民眾檢舉管道，未來民眾如有發現各類工作場所安全衛生不良情形，仍可提出檢舉。

溫朗東指出，此機制自2015年實施以來，檢舉案件增加10幾倍，其中有高達7成確認有違規情事，「怎麼看都是有成效的政策，勞動部的說法是：案件過多、人力不足、會排擠高職災風險的事件。」

溫朗東認為，如果勞檢人力不足，就應該趕快招募訓練，況且當初設置獎勵金，就是透過全民檢舉，避免抽檢的不效率。如果檢舉變少，只能仰賴抽檢，要發掘一樣數量的違法事件，只會耗費更多人力。

對於勞動部的舉動，溫朗東認為，就是怕檢舉人「檢小不檢大」，只要對高風險案件提高獎勵金就好，但如果勞動法規不合理、對資方過於嚴苛，可以公開討論，可以修法因應，而這樣低調的對資方放水，「我們也只能幫高調、持續關注了。」

不過，面對外界質疑勞檢人力不足的問題，勞動部表示，已研擬「落實保障勞工權益檢查人力提升計畫」，規劃增加全國勞動檢查員人數至1000人，目前已陳報行政院核定中。
